Men's British Saxony Tweed Plus Twos

Crafted in superior pure wool tweed, our men's British Saxony tweed plus twos are specially tailored to offer maximum flexibility when in the field.

Made in the traditional style, our plus twos fall four inches below the bottom of your knee, and will then be worn folded back, resulting in the 'plus two' format. Their short length and their roomier fit around the knee and thigh makes it easier to bend and climb. This explains their traditional popularity for field sports, as well as golfing expeditions. These feature a flapped back pocket with a button, side pockets and buckle fastenings on each leg.

About Tweed

Tweed's humble beginnings reach back to the early 19th century when it was first hand-woven in Scotland as warm, durable work wear for crofters. When the nobility of the British Isles stayed in Scotland they adopted tweed, wearing it on their grand Highland estates, particularly for country sports. With traditional designs including checks, herringbones and barleycorns, tweed has become an icon of British and Scottish style.
