About Lambswool
Lambswool can be sourced from any breed of sheep, but as the name suggests, it must be harvested before the sheep reach maturity, and shearing typically happens 7 months after their early spring birth, at the height of summer. As the fleece gains thickness and coarseness with age, lambswool is finer and softer than sheepswool. It also has a pronounced springy curl, helping it resist shrinkage and retain its shape. This breathable, hypoallergenic fibre is perfect for luxurious knitwear garments.
