All our cashmere jumpers are created by Johnstons' textile mills, Scotland's premier cashmere knitwear experts. Johnstons are the only remaining vertical mill in the UK, which means they perform the entire manufacturing process on-site, from raw fibre through to completed garment. The level of care and attention to detail they lavish on their cashmere knitwear is evident from the sheer quality of the finished article.

House of Bruar Cashmere Jumpers
Available in a dazzling array of colours and a wide range of styles, all of our cashmere jumpers are manufactured to the highest quality from only the very best Mongolian cashmere. Hand-combed from selectively bred Cashmere goats raised in some of the most inaccessible regions of Mongolia and China, the soft, downy fibres have a unique warmth and feel that no other textile can rival.
The raw fibres are then gradually transformed into the finished cashmere jumper by the master craftsmen at Johnsons, using processes that have remained largely unchanged for hundreds of years. Traditional methods are employed to dye, spin and weave the specially-prepared fibres, ensuring that the final garment embodies the high standards you expect from authentic Scottish craftsmanship.
